Sitting in Jalisco / George Bowering

GB Jalisco 2

Sitting in Jalisco is a long poem written during the three weeks George was in La Manzanilla in January 2016. Not surprisingly for someone who has upwards of 100 books to his credit, he writes every day and Sitting in Jalisco is another examination of Mexican culture in this little seaside village as well as a look at some of the people who visit. Throw in El Chapo, the infamous Mexican drug lord, and you have a delightful romp of reading.

This chapbook is published in an edition of 100. The cover image is a scan of amate paper purchased at the weekly market in La Manzanilla.

Designed and typeset in Duke and Times New Roman by Linda Crosfield.  The binding is hand sewn with linen thread.

Produced in Ootischenia.

The book is $10 CAD or USD plus shipping ($3 within Canada)
